Hillsdale to Administer Free ACT Test to All Juniors
JEROMESVILLE, Ohio — Hillsdale Local Schools is pleased to announce that all juniors will have the opportunity to take the ACT free of charge, thanks to a requirement by the Department of Education and Workforce. This test will be administered during the school day on Tuesday, February 25, at 8 AM.
Students will complete all portions of the ACT—English, Math, Reading, and Science—with the exception of the Writing section. While the ACT is widely recognized as a college readiness test, it also offers significant benefits for students who may not plan to pursue a college degree. For example, qualifying scores can open doors to college credit classes next school year and help students earn the College Ready Seal required for graduation.
There’s no need for students to register as they normally would for the ACT. The school will handle all registration details, so no additional action is required from students or families at this time.
