Hillsdale 7-12 students can earn elective credit while gaining real-world work experience through the Internship Work-Study Program.

Students may participate through a paid job or unpaid internship with a local business, agency, or organization. The experience gives students a chance to explore career interests and apply what they learn in school to the workplace.

Ohio Education Options

Ohio’s Education Options provisions provide flexibility for approved learning experiences outside the traditional classroom. Through the Internship Work-Study Program, students may earn elective credit based on their participation, with flexible work hours and credit options.

The program maintains the guidance, documentation, and accountability expected of a school-supported learning experience.
